Pepper Joe's Shipping and Returns

We only ship to United States & Canada

Free Standard Shipping Over $35 to United States only!

All customers with shipping addresses within the contiguous 48 states are eligible for Free Standard Ground Shipping when program criteria is satisfied. Order subtotals must be $35 USD or greater of list (web) priced items. Custom priced, bulk priced and item exclusions are not eligible for free standard ground shipping. All orders are shipped via USPS or FedEx. All orders under 1 lb. will be shipped USPS unless otherwise selected. Any orders totaling 1 lb. or more may be subject to shipping FedEx. If you require a certain shipping company for your area, please reach out to our customer service team at customerservice@pepperjoe.com

Please note: this free shipping policy excludes all orders with cheese items included and hot house items that contain seedling tray domes.

***Special Note*** - Our carriers, including FedEx, have suspended guaranteed delivery dates on ground and expedited shipments. This means they are not issuing refunds for any late deliveries. We've seen a majority of shipments arrive on time, but if a package arrives late due to carrier, we are unable to issue a refund for the shipping charges.

** Web Proxy Order Restrictions: Orders placed through web proxy services are prohibited to mitigate the risk of fraudulent activities. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. We pride ourselves on providing the best customer service experience around. We know you’re excited about your order of Pepper Joe’s products (we are, too!), and we want to get them to you as quickly as possible and in one piece. Most orders ship via USPS in padded envelopes to protect your precious cargo. Orders take 1-2 business days to process and leave our facility. We ship all packages Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. We also offer custom and expedited shipping options, so if you have special requests or need your stuff super-fast, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team. We’re here to help! 

Canada Shipping

Free shipping is not available on orders to Canada and all will ship via USPS. Due to customs and other regulations, we currently cannot ship our products to other countries outside of Canada and United States. Live plants and consumable products are not available to Canada residents at this time.

How does billing work?

We charge when we ship on all orders that are able to be fulfilled in 7 days or less. If an order takes longer than 7 days to ship, we capture payment after the order is placed.

Tracking

Tracking links will be provided via email when your order is packed and awaiting pick up. Please note: International tracking details can often be limited. 

Live Plants

Live plants ship USPS Priority & FedEx Ground (1-3 business days not guaranteed by the respective shipping companies) to US addresses only. When placing your order, you will be prompted to select your preferred week of delivery. If a preferred week of delivery is not selected, the earliest available will be chosen for you. We will ship your plants accordingly to arrive on your doorstep between the chosen dates, weather dependent. Please keep in mind your location, as some orders will arrive faster than planned, while others may take longer. Delivery Dates are not guaranteed. You’ll receive a tracking number once your order ships so you can follow your plant all the way to your doorstep. Remember - these are live plants and extreme temperatures can have negative effects. Please be mindful of your location and climate. Please notify us of any live plant issues within 48 hours upon receiving. A refund cannot be guaranteed after this time frame, and will not be issued after 7 days of transplanting.  

Returns

You picked out some great stuff and we know you’re going to love it. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your order, please contact us. If you’re not happy, we’re not happy and we’ll work to make it right.

On orders that are returned to our facility with insufficient addresses, the customer will be contacted upon their arrival and a refund will be issued - minus the original shipping charge. A replacement order can be made at no charge upon customer request.

Consumables

We are unable to take returns of any consumable item that has been opened. If your item was opened or damaged during transit, please don't hesitate to reach out. We would be happy to send a replacement.

Seeds

We include easy-to-follow germination instructions with every seed order. Some seeds, especially the super hots, can be tricky to germinate. We're aware that there might be other ways to get your seeds to sprout, but if you decide to try a different method than the one we suggest, please understand that we can't guarantee successful germination, and we won't be able to provide replacements.

*Non-Isolated - Disclaimer: While some of our varieties marked non-isolated were isolated when grown, they are an unstable pepper seed variety that may produce plants with genetic variations, making them less predictable and consistent in terms of traits such as flavor, size, and heat level. While this can lead to unique and exciting variations, it's important to note that these seeds may not reliably reproduce the same characteristics from one generation to the next. Planting non-isolated/unstable pepper seeds can be an adventurous gardening experience, but be prepared for some degree of variability in the resulting pepper plants. We will not be able to offer replacements for variation in traits.
